Message from the President
May/June 2008
Dear LATS colleagues,
We are contacting you to give you interesting news about LATS activity.
First of all, we would like to thank all members that have regularized their LATS membership dues. We also want to emphasize the importance of the punctual payment of debts to support our Society.
With great pleasure we announce that you can already access all the new information regarding the coming XIII LATS Meeting (Gramado, Brazil, April 30 – May 3, 2009) through LATS website: www.lats.org, just clicking over www.lats2009.com.br at the front page of our site. Please, visit the site and give your input on how to improve it.
We want to encourage everyone to participate actively in our next XIII LATS meeting. It has been established a clear difference between registration fees for LATS Members (in good standing ) and non-Members.
We are glad to inform you that the Local Organizing Committee of the XIII LATS meeting, coordinated by its chairman, Ana Luiza Maia is working hard on the meeting arrangements.
Regarding the scientific activities of the meeting, the Scientific Committee under the coordination of its chairman, Hans Graf has made important progress in the elaboration of the Scientific Program.
