Dear
LATS colleagues
We
are
contacting you
again to bring some important informations about our Society and the
coming 13th International Thyroid Congress (13th ITC), to be held in
Buenos Aires, from October 30th to November 4th.
We
are happy to communicate that our Society is growing fast. A number of
new member proposals from diverse LA countries, will be presented at
the LATS Assembly, during the 13th ITC.
The
interest of the LATS Community in the Meeting can be evaluated by the
fact that all 500 special rate registrations (PPEP –
Preferential Plan for Early Payment) were made shortly after March 1st
when this plan was first offered.
The
13th ITC promises to be a very successful Meeting. We invite all
members, to visit our site www.lats.org
and the Congress 13th
INTERNATIONAL
THYROID CONGRESS.
Please
remember a very important point: the deadline
to submit your abstracts for presentation at the 13th ITC is June, 1st,
2005.
The LATS offers travel-grants for young members of the Society who
present their data at the 13th ITC. We expect to offer al least 50
travel grants (USD 300.00 each travel grant).
The applicant for a travel grant must be:
- member of LATS;
- younger than 40
years;
- presenting a work,
as its first author.
- The work presented
must have been done totally in Latin America.
The same conditions are applicable for the Young Investigator Prize,
Basic and Clinical, with an award of USD 1.000,00.
Do not forget to send your abstract in time!
We are hoping to have a great number of you as active members during
the 13th ITC.
